[AHI] Safeguarding Women's Health with Zhiru.Zhizhi

Summary: Exploring a New Horizon of Breast Cancer Risk

Hello everyone! Good morning, afternoon, and evening to all. Today, let's talk about a crucial issue that no woman should overlook—breast cancer risk assessment.

Breast cancer might sound frightening, but knowledge and action are our most powerful weapons. Let's take proactive steps to safeguard our health and well-being.

Why is breast cancer risk assessment so important?

In 2020, 416,000 women in China were diagnosed with breast cancer, while 2.3 million women globally received the same diagnosis, leading to 685,000 deaths worldwide. Although the breast cancer mortality rate has declined in China, the incidence rate continues to rise. Scientific research shows that early detection and diagnosis significantly reduce the incidence and mortality rates. A good risk assessment tool is one of the best preventive measures we can use to stay informed about our risks.

How can you easily perform a risk assessment?

Today, we introduce Zhiru.Zhizhi. Aurora AHI has carefully developed this free-to-use WeChat mini-program. It's simple to operate and integrates well-established scientific models and professional medical knowledge, allowing every woman to easily monitor her health.

Introduction to the selected breast cancer risk assessment models

Gail Model

The Gail Model is a tool used to estimate a woman's five-year and lifetime risk of developing breast cancer. This model considers various factors, including age, race, family medical history, personal reproductive history, menstrual history, and previous breast biopsies. These insights help doctors and patients make informed health decisions and take preventive measures based on the assessed risk.

BCSC Model (Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium)

The BCSC Model is a comprehensive breast cancer risk assessment tool. It calculates a woman's risk of developing invasive breast cancer over the next six years based on her age, race/ethnicity, family history, personal breast health history, and breast density. This model is especially useful for assessing risk in diverse populations and provides personalized assessments that are ideal for clinical consultations and decision-making support.

The unique features of the Zhiru.Zhizhi mini-program

Zhiru.Zhizhi is the only tool on the market that offers users the convenience of receiving results from two risk assessment models simultaneously after filling out a questionnaire. This tool combines the strengths of both the Gail Model and the BCSC Model, enabling women to obtain two screening results along with follow-up screening suggestions. It significantly enhances the convenience and comprehensiveness of risk assessments.
